TALK TO A FARMER IN HIS FIELD.

There is an old saying, “If you want to talk to a farmer, go talk to him in his field.” In other words if you really want to communicate go where the farmer is most comfortable and thus more open to persuasion. So Jesus went today where Peter was more comfortable, where he fished. Thus Jesus wants to come to us WHERE WE ARE, INTO OUR FRIENDLY EBVIRONMENT.

JESUS WANTS TO ENTER INTO OUR REAL LIVES, BESIDES US AS WE GO ABOUT OUR DAILY LIVES.

It is up to us to make room for him there.

Come Lord Jesus into our daily lives which now are affected by Covid, Help us to protect ourselves

and show love to our neighbor by our mask wearing. Amen

On Netflix: “STORIES OF A GENERATION

WITH POPE FRANCIS”

I highly recommend this. You will find it among DOCUMENTARIES on Netflix.

in today’s Gospel Jesus declares his Mission Statement:

”This is why I came! This is what I am all about!”

and this is Good News!

We so badly need Good News in our time.

Another recommendation: Watch “All

Things Great And Small.” On PBS Sunday nights.

“It is charming, relaxing, refreshing.

In the Eucharist we are enjoined to “Lift up your hearts!”

We need to seek out ways to do this. These two video resources will do just that.
