Thanksgiving

JUST TO BE IS A BLESSING! JOSHUA HESCHEL

Advent Hope

At the edge

deep down below,

a voice is calling

in an echo cayon,

"Hear and follow me

as my companion..."

 

Fall into fear,

Or look farther?

beyond the edge,

deep below,

hope carries on,

and does not falter.

This Advent we are at the edge of Advent light in the Covid darkness.

"Be alert!" says the Gospel.

Mask.

Wash.

Distance.
