Today's Gospel tells us the Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field, a fine pearl, a net thrown in the sea..

 

                     ...a treasure hidden in a field?

The field we are most aware of is a field in Ukraine littered with belongings:

...a doll...a book....a computer....a body, forever silenced...

And we are left to question: When all is said and done, what is most valuable in our lives?
