REMEMBERING

+ Janet Grosse, my beloved cousin who died of a stroke at age 69.

She and her husband Larry would visit every winter. Se was a splendid nurse who gave comfort to patients and to all of us. The last thing she wrote was a sympathy card to a family here who were mourning. She left us trailing "clouds of Glory."

+ Delores  Cassidy, another beloved cousin, age 91 victim of Covid, a warm and delightful "Polish Cousin."

After my mother died, she had my father over to dinner every week. She was outging and fun filled.

+ Shirley West, age 85, my next door neighbor, who exemplified the Good Samaritan. Always generous and and compassionate. She was a published poet. My neighbor for nine years.

+ Mary Ann Cronican, age 83 wo died in Omaha. a kind and devout mother. Her son Matthew is my God Child.

+ Deacon Jerry Gau, my favorite deacon in the Archdiocese of Omaha. a splendid man who did not know how really great he as. He survived Covid, but was taken by Parkensons.

All gone within a month's time.

"We have little enough time to gladden the hearts of those who travel the way with us.

Make haste to be kind."
