"Wait and see!"

"Wait and see!"

This is an old axiom we are all familiar with.

That is what our ancient ancestors did, wondering if the sun would once again come back to shine on their crops.

They huddled at New Grange in Ireland waiting and on the solstice SEEING a shaft of sunlifgt streaking down a corridor.

Google New Grange for an explanation of that special holy place.

When we wait and see, we hunker down.

We are now under assault by the Russians in cyber space.

so, we wait to see how bad.

We wait to see an inaguaration and hope for better days.

Mary, Mother of God had to wait and see.

So too do we.

Patience in these Covid days can be difficult.

But we are all in this together, and we must wait and hope for the vaccine.

Advent is all wabout waiting.

Christmas is all about SEEING!

And so we pray:

Come Lord Jesus

into our dark.

O Come O Come

Emmanuel!
