What IF?

What IF Joseph had a dream and was told to flee his country for fear of a local despot or some drug dealer?

What IF his family had to emigrate without passports?

What IF "Tramp II, the Pharoah" in Egypt erected a wall to exclude the Holy Family refugees?

What IF Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were interned at the border?

What IF Jesus came down with a fever?

What IF Jesus died in internment?

THE FACT IS THAT THE HOLY FAMILY WERE REFUGEES IN EGYPT!

And so we Pray:

O God of Refugees,

and not of despots,

Deliver us from evil.

Amen.
