17 Sunday...Ordinary...July 28, 2019

I am back. Praise God.

Have been on sicklist.

Today Jesus tells us to ask. And in the end he promises the Holy Spirit. So no matter what we pray for, if it seems we receive no answer that suits us, we can be assured we will be given the Holy Spirit.

And so we pray:

Come Holy spirit,

Cool refreshment in our heat,

Solace in the midst of woe,

Brood over our injuries.

Douse our doubts.

cool refreshment from above.
