The Hard Hearted Judge and the Pursuing Widow

So where is God in this parable?

"Why not see the widow, not the judge as the image of God?...When the widow is seen as the God like figure then the message of the parable becomes crystal clear. Anyone who doggedly resists injustice--faces it, names it and denounces it until right is acheived--is acting as God does, is God Like."

We are at a crisis point in our counry. An Impeachment Inquiry is under way which must investigate and seek an ultimately just result.

and so we pray:

Come Holy Spirit,

enlighten the eyes of our people,

that we see injustice when it becomes obvious,

so we may honestly pursue an ultimate just result.
