Talents

Today's Gospel is all about burying your talents.

"I could never do that!" is an exclamation often heard.

But what if Lincoln had said it,

or Beethoven?

We are each a bundle of talents.

Most of our potential is never used.

So why not think  of dong some new things no matter what our age?

I reently colored a framed lithograph which was previously uncolored.

Every time I look at it, I get a feeling of accomplishment.

Covid may give new opportunities for unexplored ventures.

Come Holy Spirit,

Enliven my imagination!
