Saint James And Social Justice

Today Saint James gives a scathing lesson on Social Justice.
A model for our day is Caesar Chavez, organizer of the United Farm Workers Union.
He was a devout Catholic who integrated, fasting, pilgrimage, and non violence into his movement with Our Lady Of Guadalupe as his patroness.
The desperate and bedraggled people at our borders need his intercession.
And so we pray:
dear Caesar, hear the plaintive cries of the poor.
let their cries for assistance rise up to the heavens.
Please help us to repair our broken immigration system which is an affront to humanity.
