When will they ever learn?

I remember in the nineteen thirties my father saying, “Now the Czechs, next the Poles!”

we have a NEW HITLER NOW.

GOD BLESS THE Ukrainians. God help them.

Today’s Gospel is filled with vivid imagery:

”Can a blind person guide another blind person?” Asks Jesus.

Putin IS BLIND.

POWER CORRUPTS AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY.

WE are at the Eve of another Lent. Marci Gras time. Fat Tuesday is at hand.

will we make sacrifices at the gas pump without a grumble?

that is a price we must pay for Putin’s blindness.

Russia’s invasion of Afghanistan turned sour.

May it be so in  Ukraine.

in the meantime we prepare to enter Lent. So will the faithful in war torn Ukraine.

God help us all.
