FOOD STAMPS REFLECTION For 16th Week, Ord. Time

Feeding the hungry is a constant theme in the Scriptures. It is a basic mark of civilization in every age.

Recently David Brooks, national writer said he intended to do an exposé on misuse of FOOD STAMPS.

 

But when he did his research he found that the food stamp program did not deserve an exposé since it usually met genuine needs and he also discovered hungry children were very often the beneficiaries of food stamps.

Right now, sad to say our House of Representativif has a clique of no sayers who if not mean spirited, at least misguided members who plan on drastic reduction of funds for the food stamp program.
