...whoever eats this bread will live forever!"

Jeus continues today to discourse on what we believe about the Eucharist.

In the light of the Gospel message this Holy Thursday Eucharust prayer is appropriate:

 

O God on each Thursday of each week,

let me taste and see your goodness.

Today Jesus fed the twelve.

Today Jesus washed their feet.

I too am fed. I am strengthened.

I too can serve, Wash others' feet.

I join my spirit with every Eucharist.

to give thanks, praise, and service.

Let me go forth in love and peace

to serve this hungry world.

May I bring bread for hungry hearts,

courage for hungry souls.
