Jesus was of the earth, earthy!

When Jesus emerged from the Jordan, he was the "Christ With Muddy Feet!"

Jesus was down to earth, and he loved the earth and saw it as a primary source for parables.Today the spilled seed and the mustard seed which grew into a large tree.

Pope Francis walks in his footsteps.

The Vatican is launching a program to put Laudato Si into action. "to create the uture, we want a more inclusive, fraternal, peaceful, and sustainable world."

And he Pope is considering a visit to the next climate summit in Glasgow Scotland in Novembr.

So today Jesus praises fertility which is challeged by CliMATE CHANGE.

This Sunday it wll be 111 degrees in Scottsdale.

An approprIate Sunday to meditate on threatened fertility.

Come Holy Spirit, Renew the face of Our Earth/
