Saint James on Good Works.. 

St. Jame and Good Works....His message appears in the Readings in recent weeks., My friend Marilyn had migrant yard workers and another man sitting in her car port. He was shoeless and looked tired. She thought he was one of the workers and offered him water.

Later the head worker came to the door and he was shoelesss.

"You did not have to remove your shoes to come in,: she said.

"Oh I know. That stranger over there was without shoes, so I gave him mine."

(It was later learned that the stranger had walked away from a detox center where they cofiscate your shoes,)

"If someone says he has faith and does not have works, what good is that?"
