Gaudate! Rejoice!

Winter's dark creeps upon us.

In the glow of a fireplace,

old memories sift through embers.

Golden days-- loved ones.

They have gone before us

towards a greater light.

And in Advent's glow and promise.

A Rose Vestment signals "Light is near!"

A Rose sunset: a brighter tomorrow!

For those who have gone before us,

And for those who are left to hope.

a people in darkness have seen a great light.

and so we pray:

"O Wisdom of our God, most high,

Guiding creation with power and love,

Come to teach us the path of Knowldge."
