The gospel today comes to us as the German bishops have announced that 5% of their priests have been charged over time with sexual abuse.
The crsis continues..
I recenly called the Pew Research Institute and suggested they do research regarding married deacons and abuse.
In Omaha we have more married deacons than priests, and I know of no abuse charges against such married deacons. IF this is so,then it should be very thought provoking.
And so we pray:
Come Holy Spirit
guide us towards the truth,
which can set us free.
Deliver the Church from the scourge of sexual abuse.
Deliver us from evil.
Amen
